# 8. I bought a new Miner, but my Bonus Power didn't increase. Why?

It’s important to note that **Bonus Power from identical miners does not stack**.

For example:

* If you own two **Armageddon miners**, each providing a **+0.75% Bonus Power**, you will not receive a cumulative bonus of **+1.5%**. Instead, the **Bonus Power remains +0.75%**.

However, **Bonus Power does stack if the miners have different merge levels** (e.g., Common, Uncommon, etc.).

* For instance, having a **Common Armageddon** (+0.75%) and an **Uncommon Armageddon** (+0.79%) will provide a total Bonus Power of **+1.54%**.

This is why merging your miners is so important! By upgrading miners to higher merge levels, you can maximize your **Bonus Power** and earn more rewards.
