# 7. Why do I need parts? How can I use parts?

To improve the effectiveness of your miner without breaking the bank, you will need certain components for crafting and merging. This is essentially the key to obtaining a more powerful miner at a reduced cost. There are 5 tiers of rarity for the parts:

You can earn them as rewards by playing mini-games, or obtain them by opening common parts cases from the [<mark style="color:green;">**Season Store**</mark>](https://rollercoin.com/game/market/season-pass). Alternatively, you can purchase the parts you need from the [<mark style="color:green;">**Marketplace**</mark>](https://rollercoin.com/marketplace).&#x20;

It's important to keep in mind that crafting can be a very rewarding option as well. By crafting, you can potentially obtain a limited-run, high-powered machine that could greatly increase in value on the RLT market or provide you with a significant boost in mining power. Therefore, it's definitely worth considering crafting.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://faq.rollercoin.com/rollercoin/f.a.q./store/7.-why-do-i-need-parts-how-can-i-use-parts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
