# 18. ¿Cuál es el propósito de las baterías?

**Baterías** son elementos opcionales que te permiten extender tu **carga de Electricidad** más allá del **periodo gratuito de 24 horas**.

Usar Baterías **no es obligatorio**, ya que puedes recargar tu Electricidad a diario sin ellas.
