# 19. Why do I need to buy batteries? Where can I buy them?

**Batteries** are used to extend your energy recharge for up to **3 days**.

The primary way to obtain Batteries is by purchasing them on [<mark style="color:green;">the</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**Marketplace**</mark>](https://rollercoin.com/marketplace/buy).\
Additionally, Batteries can be sold under a **dedicated category** in the Marketplace, making the process more streamlined.

This allows active players to act as resource suppliers for those who prefer to spend **RLT** instead of actively managing energy.
